Using Hue & Me
Hue & Me is a collaborative coloring service. These terms cover the website, iPhone/iPad app, and test versions. By creating or joining a room, opening an account, or purchasing through the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use those features.
Read the Privacy Policy for how information is used and Cookies & storage for device controls. Accepting these terms does not grant blanket consent to optional tracking or marketing.
If you are under the age of legal adulthood where you live, involve a parent or guardian who can authorize your use and any purchases. The current online test version does not yet support use by children under 13 with verified parental permission. Please see the children and families information before allowing an under-13 child to use it.
Accounts & shared work
You can begin using a guest account. Its access depends on the session stored on your device. Clearing app or browser data can lose that access. Where available, verified email sign-in and purchase recovery provide another way to access an account. Accounts are not automatically combined; a supported guest restore may link existing guest artwork to a verified purchase account.
Keep your device, email, verification codes, room codes, and gift links safe. Use only accounts and purchases you are authorized to access. Room links allow another person to join when a place is available.
Coloring in a shared room gives the participants access to the shared picture, including saving an image. Removing a picture from your Artbook or deleting your account does not delete the other participant’s copy. Account deletion removes your account identity and nickname from shared records, while the picture’s colors remain available to the remaining participants. Images already downloaded or shared cannot be recalled by the app.
You can start deletion in Account & data. Unshared online work with no remaining participant is deleted. Deletion also removes this account’s purchase access and is not a refund request. Keep your receipt if you may need purchase help afterward.
Artwork & permissions
The coloring-page illustrations, branding, and app software belong to their respective creators and rights holders. Buying a pack provides access to color its pages; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying illustrations.
You may color pages, save your finished pictures, print them for personal use, and share your completed artwork socially. Please credit Hue & Me when practical. Do not resell the blank pages, extract and redistribute a paid pack, or use the underlying illustrations commercially without permission. Contact us if you want to discuss a different use.
You retain any rights you hold in your original contributions. You allow Hue & Me to store, display, and process those contributions to operate the features you request. For shared coloring, you also allow the other participants to keep, continue coloring where available, and save the shared picture after you leave or delete your account. This does not permit us to publish a private Artbook as advertising without separate permission.
Purchases & testing
Review the price, currency, content, and platform shown at checkout. Packs currently offered as one-time purchases are not subscriptions. A room invitation may allow another participant to color in that room without giving them ownership of the pack or access to create other paid rooms.
Apple processes Apple in-app purchases. Stripe processes website payments for Hue & Me. Their applicable payment terms also apply. See the Refund policy for purchase problems and refund requests.
Apple purchases in the current TestFlight sandbox are tests and do not charge money. This beta grants temporary pack and Cloud Artbook access that can be renewed by confirming a valid test purchase; it is not a paid lifetime entitlement. A live Stripe checkout on the website can charge real money, even when you are also a TestFlight tester. Read the checkout screen before confirming.
Test features can change and may contain errors. Save copies of artwork you want to keep. Tell us about purchase or restore problems rather than repeatedly purchasing the same item.
Fair use
Do not use the service for harassment, unlawful content, fraud, unauthorized access, automated abuse, or attempts to bypass purchase and room-access checks. Keep personal and sensitive information out of nicknames and feedback. Respect the people you invite and the rights of the artists.
We may limit abusive or unsafe use when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service. Where appropriate, we will explain the action and provide a way to contact us about a mistake.
Changes & availability
We may improve pages, features, and these terms. Material changes will receive an appropriate notice before they take effect. Existing rights and any consent required by law are not overridden by an update to this page.
Network or provider outages can interrupt coloring, saving, or purchases. We cannot promise uninterrupted or permanent availability. If a significant change affects paid content, we will explain the available options, including any remedy required by applicable consumer law.
Your rights & contact
These terms do not exclude consumer guarantees, refund rights, privacy rights, or remedies that cannot legally be waived. Nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow that limitation.
